My First Post and Yay..... It's the 100th Day!

Well here goes nothing! I am so excited to finally have my blog up and running I don't even know what to post first! My find went through about 100 different options before I decided on posting about the 100th day activities I have been crafting away on.

Besides it being an early release day (every Monday we dismiss at 1:15) we will be celebrating the 100th day of school!  I am so excited about it this year because I have really gone ALL OUT! First I purchased a unit- The 100th Day Craze- that you can get from Second Grade Shenanigans (ps. You have to check her out! Her blog button is below).

SECOND GRADE SHENANIGANS

Well lets just say that got my creative juices flowing.  Besides all of her fun activities, we will be having.................. drum roll please.................. A PHOTO BOOTH! If you like her unit it comes with photo booth glasses. However I needed more, meaning there was a few things I needed for it to be all that I was envisioning. First, I had to get a colorful backdrop. So I picked up a colorful sheet from Wal-Mart for $5.00!

Next, I had to get crafting on the props. I decided to make some cute signs for the kids to hold, a giant 100 dollar bill, and some 100 glasses. I have been crafting all weekend to get ready. So below you can take a look at how everything turned out and even pick up a little freebie for yourself! I tried to get my husband to model them for everyone but he was not having that. No, not at all! So you will just have to use your imagination to picture them in use until I can return with some action shoots. Hope you enjoy!

Okay and here is the little freebie I was talking about. You can download the 100th Day Smartie signs I made. Just click on the picture below and you can get yourself a copy! Well I think that about does it for my first post! I will be back later on in the week to show you how our 100th Day fun went down!
